What’s Happening?

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, volunteers from around the greater Orlando area will converge on the campus of Forest Lake Academy to create an unforgettable event, The Risen Experience.

This two mile, walk-through event, follows Jesus in His final days as He enters Jerusalem, eats with His friends, faces temptation, is tried and ultimately crucified. Witness the events unfolding in real time, and become a part of this incredible experience.

Why Volunteer?

Have you ever wanted to make a difference in someone’s life? This is a great way to fulfill that goal! Witnessing these events brings more of an understanding of what Jesus went through, on a personal level. You can see the emotions play out in members of the crowd and also in other volunteers. And what a great way to teach your kids about community, working together for a common goal, and putting your comforts aside to help bring others to Jesus.
